Manifestantes muçulmanos e policiais entraram em confronto em frente ao Parlamento grego, em Atenas, nesta sexta-feira. Segundo a União Muçulmana da Grécia, o policial não-identificado que teria destruído um Alcorão será processado. "A polícia disse que precisa de mais tempo para uma sindicância, então nós movemos um processo", disse o presidente da organização, Naim Elghandour, à agência de notícias Reuters.
"Queremos que o policial ou os policiais envolvidos sejam processados, e que o governo peça desculpas", disse o sírio Manala Mohammed à agência Associated Press. "Queremos que as pessoas demonstrem respeito por nós."
